Curriculums designed according to individual difference

Pygmalion provides original teaching materials and teaching tools. All courses are carefully designed according to the order of how humans acquire knowledge.
Every child can choose a grade that best suits his or her ability. Age is not a major concern when picking a lesson.

In-class learning v.s. Online learning

In-class learning

Teaching materials for in-class learning We value children’s hard work, and we know time is precious. So in order to guarantee high efficiency learning, there will be some simple evaluation tests between the lessons. Then we will adjust the curriculum according to children’s performance.

Online learning

Teaching materials for online learning All lessons can be purchased online. Children can choose to enjoy the lesson at home without going to our classrooms.

Curriculums for boosting potential

Grade P

Basic: Our goal is to help children foster excellent hand ability and basic math skills.

  • Fingertip ability

    Building children’s ability naturally through activities such as coloring, tracing, drawing song, cutting paper, and origami.

  • Shape ability

    Learn the concept of right angle by using magnetic shapes or tenchi puzzle. Let children do it on their own and learn the tips of put the shapes, such as starting putting the shapes from the bigger pieces.

  • Spatial ability

    Learn the concept of big/small, inside/outside, long/short, high/low, above/below, half, etc. This aims to cultivate spatial awareness (3-dimensional space).

  • Math activity

    Recognize numbers 1~10 with Nummer Kasten (counting balls).

Grade Y

Elementary: Our goal is to help children have the ability that equals a normal 1st grader.

  • Fingertip ability

    Let children complete various activities (coloring / origami / cutting paper) without the help from others.

  • Shape ability

    Let children be familiar with the length, size, and angle of shapes by using pelican puzzle.

  • Spatial ability

    There will be worksheets especially designed to develop intellectual skills. For example, matching picture sets, visual memory, and connecting the dots.

  • Math activity

    Recognize numbers up to 20, and be able to do mental arithmetic of addition and subtraction by using Nummer Kasten (counting balls).

Grade G

Intermediate: Our goal is to complete the first stage of cultivating spatial awareness

  • Fingertip ability

    Let children be able to complete different tasks like lacing, cutting paper, origami, etc.

  • Shape ability

    We will use wild goat puzzle to help children understand the concept of semi stereoscopic Children are able to remember the names of the 12 shapes, and recognize right angles.

  • Spatial ability

    New types of worksheets will be added to introduce new ideas, such as light direction, comparison of weight, mirror pictures, dimensional perception, unfolding the paper, etc.

  • Math activity

    Recognize numbers up to 100, and be able to do mental arithmetic of addition and subtraction.

Grade M

  • Fingertip ability

    Help children do an overall review with teaching tools.

  • Shape ability

    This will be an overall review. We will further cultivate children’s shape ability by using various shape-related teaching tools.

  • Spatial ability

    There will be new types of worksheets, including spatial awareness, 5-dimensional perception, numbers of wooden blocks, dividing squares, tiles, etc, all of which aims to boost children’s abilities.

  • Math activity

    Learn numbers up to 10,000.
